The Day of the Dead is on my list of festivals I’d like to go to one day.

They seem to do a pretty good job of it in Tucson, witness this picture.

And what’s in the photo isn’t half as interesting as the context as described in the caption:

Hey! Nice to see you over here, I wondered what you'd been up to. Are you going to Readercon? I'm considering going on Saturday, at least for part of the day.

Hi-- Up to the usual -- not really anything that remarkable going on at the moment. (Mostly trying to avoid catching the incredibly nasty cold A.'s had all week.)

I'm going to Readercon for the whole time, so if you do make it there, I'll be around.

I think I'm coming on Saturday during the day. Unfortunately, I won't be there in the evening because I need to be back in Western Mass. for something that night. It will be my first time at Readercon, and I'm looking forward to it.
