Howdy. I'm returning to the blogosphere, and finally starting to post on the blog over at www.rudidornemann.com, where things are cool and green. I'll probably cross-post everything here, though, so you can catch me at either locale.

The Codex is awesome, isn't it? There've been times when I've wanted to pony up the $300 to buy a copy. Should've, now it's up to like $800+ (aside from the over-optimistic soul on Ebay selling it for $5400). The Codex is in the same category as Fantastic Planet...complete strangeness.

Your links are mostly malformed, BTW. They suffer from extraneous http's!

Thanks for letting me know about the links, Jeff. I think they're fixed now. (That's what I get for attempting the lazy route and just cutting and pasting them.)

The fan site mentions that you can get French or Italian copies of the book for only(!) a couple of hundred dollars.

I think I'll stick to Google and Flickr, and hope that somewhere out there is a translation of Calvino's intro to the Italian edition...
