Yesterday was loads of fun. The Hub and I met
arashikeiko,
aznmetalhead13,
fleetingeyes, and a couple of other people for lunch and hanging out. Issen Joki for Japanese food made by someone who genuinely cared. You ever been homesick for something you never had? Perry and I never go to SBux unless I need an espresso to take the edge of one of my headaches. Never, ever.
Well, there are so many kinds of Chinese food! ^^ Slightly off topic, I've also heard that Japanese people generally hate cumin, so it's almost impossible to get decent Mexican food where there are lots of Japanese people. On the other hand, it's so flipping easy to get a variety of Mexican food almost anywhere in California, so that's sort of handled.
I've been lucky to make friends with a woman with parents from Thailand who cook, so nummy food is easy to come by. It's too hot for me, but very good. Also, they like to eat out at Thai places, so recommendations are easy to get. Also: VEGAN Thai! YAY!^^
We do a lot of pointing when we feel like eating somewhere we don't know well. Guides are better, though. ^__^ Tea places with friends are good times. :)

Haha, Kevin and I always drive around and I go OH LETS TRY THERE NEXT TIME!!!
...if we remember, we do end up going, but a lot of times it's back to the old favourites. ^^' But recommendations and guides are definitely always better :)
Yes they are! Tea places are always a hang out staple, they're open late (especially on weekends), you can sit and talk over drinks (that you don't need a DD for!), and usually you can snag dinner or a snack along with it :)
Yes. ;~;
