I felt sort of meh about it, too. This scene reminds me of that final scene in Voyage of the Damned. I had to justify it in my mind.

My spouse thinks I've been too hard on the Doctor. =/

Yeah, lackluster episode, but the line "You make me into this" really stuck in my head, because it's so hypocritical and so Doctor and true at the same time as it's hypocritical. Nice to see an exploration of the angry/dark/grieving side of the Doctor the end of the episode can be interpreted to show.

For an episode that I really didn't care for, your writing has made this part astounding in my mind. Just seeing what he thinks as he's doing this? It makes up for the terrible predictability that was the special.
