Also, completely unrelated, but reading again I noticed the journal mood. I have to say, I love the mood you opted to post this under. Adds a whole other element to the story.

But honestly, this is dark and amazing and just another fantastic glimpse into what that year must have been like.

I'm so glad you approve. The hardest part was making it something I could plausibly see happening, because the relationship between the Doctor and the Master (to say nothing of the Master and Lucy) is very dark and complex. Dub Con seemed the easiest way to make the situation work.
