I love this series. I love the way you write Agatha Christie. The phrasing and the voice are wonderful. And the relationship with the Doctor, I love it. So many phrases jumped out at me. The line about kissing the smirk away, and the drunken frog and so many others. Love this!

Also at the end when he bursts in and says "There's been another murder." I saw lightning flash, a thunderclap, a dramatic organ chord and a zoom in on Agatha's face. IS THAT WRONG OF ME.

Aww, but Poirot rocks! I think so, anyway. I don't blame Agatha for being attracted to the Doctor. Lovely chapter.

I love Poirot too! By the time in Agatha's life when she took the trip on the Orient Express, she started referring to her detective as "that egotistical boor" and other wonderful names. As a frequent writer of an egotistical character, I can understand her frustration!
