Wow. Just... wow. Everything you wrote, I could feel it, you wrote it so well. And just watching it all unfold until you finally realize what's going on -- it put a pit in my stomach, but it was a good pit. Oh, man.
Wow. This was brilliant. The way you take something so innocent, so fun, like a playground, and twist to be something so dark and decaying, is absolutely amazing. The chipping of paint, the heat, the fire and the rain, just the word usage and the imagery alone is so perfect for this, and the idea of the Master turning him into a child, like a twisted father-son type thing is chilling. Just another he needs to feel superior.

That was really awesome. I love how you threaded illusion and mockery through this. And the Doctor was really cute and sad, wondering why the Master wouldn't play. I always love seeing the Year explored and used to it's potential, too, so you get bonus points for that. Just really cool.
