He was in the blue suit. The one that looked identical to his brown suit, only blue with red stripes instead of brown with blue stripes. He was verymuch a man, picking one outfit he liked and grabbing it in several different colors

The boys weren't playing anywhere, which meant it had been a bit difficult to get them out of the hotel room, especially when she used the word date. Devin had stared. Warren might have snickered, then beamed. Both of them had been wise enough not to mention Byron, who, anyway, was out ona date of his own and therefore, really, they were back to the status quo, right? Only usually she went back to Faerie or off to see one of her other artists, making herself scarce until he needed her

His hand ran through his hair, but gave up. Really, it was just a waste of time to even try. It wasn't about to start coperating, not even if it suddenly gained sentience and the ability to be reasoned with.

Flowers out, or behind his back? Or neither, did he simply hold them to the side? This was entirely too complicated, and he hadn't even began, yet!

Aislinn smiled more when she opened the door and saw him, resisting the impulse to hurl herself into his arms immediately. Patience really wasn't one of her virtues. She embraced him with her smile, though, warm and brilliant and all that delight focused right in on him.

"Hi."

"Hello," he replied, grinning, "You, uh, you look beautiful."

It was true, she did. He wasn't normally one to look, but he had spent a good deal of time on his own appearance, and the flowy outfit she wore suited her perfectly. She looked...almost ethereal.

Sheepishly, he offered up the flowers, looking a bit like a schoolboy with a crush as he did so.
