Thank you so very much! Prompts that get this kind of poke-me-in-the-head muse attention usually involve multiple rewrites---this one was no exception. *insert pout face* But I'm pretty happy with the result!

Thank you very much. This remains one of my favorites, because I wrote it not long after Doomsday, when the Rose-ache was still very fresh.

I'm still totally awed how you can move me within moments of starting to read... (then again, as a recent DW-arrival, I saw Doomsday much, much sooner than a year ago. Think between the time Daleks in Manhattan was aired and Evolution in the Daleks. So oh yes. This one appeals to Rose-ache. A lot. (don't get me wrong, I LOVE Martha. But.)
