Fitz's room: * this in a nice case sits on his bed with a ribbon tied around the neck and a card that reads "I'm really sorry I hurt you. Please be my best man again? - Turlough"*

*waits until Turlough's gone back to his room and goes off to change his clothes* *emerges after a while, and heads to the console room, dressed in a military officer's uniform*

*wipes more tears from his eyes, coming into the console room, carrying a suitcase and his canvas messenger bag with all his sketchy things, leaving all his canvas and painty things for Tegan*

*hasn't bothered with a proper new bandage yet for his finger*

*stops, seeing the Doctor, and looks deeply disturbed, if not frightened*

What are you doing?

If that's what you want. *is getting information from the little console screen* I'm off to Sylvana. I was in the middle of commanding an army there before I came to Ophara.

*swallows hard and looks mush more sad than angry now*

Well... if this is what you end up becoming ...I'm not so sure I would have wanted to stay.

*moves to the console, opening the door, tears streaming rapidly, pulls his ring from his pocket and sets it on the console with his injured, trembling hand*

I'll call up Tegan, Fitz and Adric... help with new living arrangements.

*heads to the door and stops for one more look back*

*looks away before he can dissolve into sobs and steps out of the TARDIS*

*looks at him with cold eyes as he speaks, watching him, not saying anything* *once he's left, he closes the doors*

*closes his eyes, thinking about what he just said and lets a few tears fall*

*he takes Turlough's ring - pulling the chain with his ring on it out from under his jacket, putting that ring on it, with his own, and tucks it back in*

TARDIS: *dematerializes, probably while Turlough's still close enough to see or hear it*
