so i've been tempted to go natural for a while, i'm sitting here playing with my effed up do to say the least, and it only seems more tempting. my problem is i don't know what hair styles i could have without relaxed hair and I'm not ready for locs just yet. i'm not even interested in natural because of all the "your hair will be healthier" jazz, ( Read more... )

I've been natural for a LONG time, I'll never go back to a relaxer because IMO it dosent make since for me. Right now I'm wearing my hair straight. Sometimes I wear the afro puff or the half up half out fro. It just depends on how I'm feeling.

Its going to take you a while to get used of your natural hair if you do decide to grow it out. I don't think its any harder, its just about getting used to yout new hair texture.

When I grew out my hair way back when I did it with braids. It only took about 6 months. I'd say flat iron your hair if you dont want to opt for the braids.

I'm natural. Can't say I take the best care of my hair though... I transitioned through braids. I either wear it in an afro puff, twists or braids/cornrows. Let me know if you have questions...
