When you've written certain ships to death, how do you find something new to write about them? I'm having trouble finding inspiration. And I can't be more clear than this, unfortunately.

I've run into the same problem. All I do is just wait for more inspiration (which can be tedious), or start in on the more bizarre 'what ifs'. Sometimes going off and trying something different helps, too, at least for me.

Hmm...I usually turn to language. O try to find new descriptions, new plays on words, that sort of thing. Or I write random happenings around the events of the story as mini fics and cookies.
