For the next two weeks there will ALWAYS be something to watch! I'm a total Olympics junkie. Watching Archery! The US is in the gold medal match! The influence of Hawkeye maybe? LOL!

I know what you mean--I've been known to watch ping pong at 2 am because, you know, Olympics! Between the Games and the McShep Match (which should be starting soon), I will be hard pressed to get anything done!

Did I tell you that I opted for archery and fencing when I was an undergrad at a private university?
I loved them both..............

I took archery. Awful at it, but I had fun. Halfway through the class the instructor realized I was using a 25b draw. I should have been using about a 15lb draw. No wonder I couldn't shoot it!

What made you pick up a 25? I am surprised your instructor did not point out what amount even before instruction began.
I wonder what Hawkeye draws?

50lb seems to be the competition standard. The instructor was a man who didn't pay any attention to the women in the class. He thought we were just there for fun. If I hadn't tried one of my friend's bows, I would never have noticed that my bow was so hard to draw.

Could be Hawk is to blame......Yeah....bow...arrows.....there is a correlation that leads me to the conclusion that there is a connection......
