Love this ... Steve and Tony ... and a look at Hawkeye's and Natasha's cool tech. Look at that arrow ... and her gloves. Awesome. And Steve and Tony ... LOL!
On a side note. I'm curious. Hawkeye was in Thor for like two mins. What's behind such intense interest in fandom? Are people going back to read the graphic novels or is everyone building up things from that little glimpse of footage? From a old school comic book fan I'm a bit confused :-P
I think the buzz was fueled first by the excitement over the revival of Ironman, which was huge. People started reading the graphic novels and comics. Then when Joss Whedon was chosen to write and direct, you add his fans to the mix ... add in Chris Hemsworth and Evans, plus Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and people started thinking this would be huge.
I don't even consider myself as a comic geek, but I loved Ironman, and when I saw Thor and recognized Jeremy Renner, I fell in love with the whole concept. It's another great vehicle for Team, for kick-ass women and sexy men.
So cool, and interest in this is HUGE. Oh ... and they filmed in Cleveland! As a Clevelander, I'm thrilled to see my city -- even if it is blown to bits! Oh, look ... Hawkeye just fell off the Terminal Tower! LOL
Okay, that makes sense. I understood the growing buzz for the whole fandom, but was curious why so many people were enamored with Hawkeye :-P Thank you!
Oh, I'm thinking TPTB had a plan in place and felt the need to bend, twist, and play with the minds of fans of both comic and non comic (movie based). Knowing Joss he will try and keep this as true to the comic as possible (for the man is a comic geek himself). I can't wait to find out.
I SO cannot wait for this film to come out!! every time I see it I get all excited again!! and then inevitably end up watching Hulk, Thor, Iron Man and Captain America to tide me over!!!
