This week can just go away ... (Work-related)

Seriously. One of my assistants had to have a biopsy and surgery on what is likely a melanoma. She thought it would be rather minor and she'd be away for two days. She won't be back until Friday, and most likely not until Monday. I'm hoping she's all right. She's had some rough times this year, and nobody needs this on top of all her other issues.

I have Saturday off, but I have to work on Sunday. How annoying is that? But it pays time and a half... which will help pay my airfare to Vancouver. So, I can't complain too much!

But the next two days are going to be a royal pain. I'm just hoping I can sleep. I have to work Monday night until 9, but I'll be home in time to watch H5-0. I can't wait!

Sorry you don't have Sunday off too, but time and a half is nothing to be sneezed at. Especially if it is helping you pay for Vancouver! You are going to have such an awesome time there! So excited you are going!

I hope you can sleep, too. Try some Sleepytime tea, or if you aren't against taking such things, some nighttime Advil.

I took about a third of an OTC sleep aid and it knocked me out, so I woke up this morning feeling much better and ready to go. I just want to get some of my own work done! Thanks for thinking of me!

I am sooo sorry you are having a bad week. My boss is off this week and it seems people have lost their minds without her here. I am trying to help clean messes up:( Plus, students have seemed to have lost their minds as well! If I have to tell one more person that they actually have to get up and stop using the rolly chairs to move around, I may lose it!!! I hope you week improves!!!
