The next planet was lovely, a paradise with a long sandy beach and gorgeous surf -- until one of the marines noticed that the surf was melting the soles of his boots. “I guess we can cross this one off the list,” Lorne sighed.

John squinted. “Does that sun look funny to you?”

“It looks like a sun, sir.”

There were multi-colored lights flashing at the edges of his vision. “You sure?”

I must admit I laughed a lot at this part, and I'm still laughing. See? You are writing! :D

I had to fit in some of Lorne's signature dry wit. :-) That was my story for the day. I've completed my first BINGO.

Now, back to Cam and Lorne down on the farm. Where it's HOT!

I love Lorne and Ronon's friendship in this, and John and Lorne toughing it out because the other one is, not because they actually want to. And of course the end is sweet :)

A well written lovely story is just what I needed before going to sleep.
I loved Evan caring about John and being so inflexible about the decision to go back to Atlantis.
And John and Ronon... aww! Now I can drif off to sleep dreaming about how they spent the day. ;) Well, accutally I think that might keep me awake!

I have a soft spot for headache fics and I loved John struggling through his and Lorne's worry, both men trudging through until they realize it's pointless. But it was the sweet, tender ending with Ronon that as the icing on the cake.
