Opinions. please

In this day and age, is it important to declare a minor? Especially if it's your last semester and you could take interesting classes instead, and you've already got enough extracurricular activities to make a good resume.

It depends if the minor will make you go out of your way at this point. I wouldn't make yourself crazy over completing it if it will be a burden to finish...

But, on the other hand, I think a minor is a great addition to have, since its purpose is to hopefully support your direction ahead.

Also, taking different classes makes for a well-rounded liberal arts education. Enjoy every bit of it!

P.S. What would your intended minor be?

My minor is what I want to do with my life if I don't stay in higher ed, so it was critical to me. I think if your minor is something that's important to you or that you'd enjoy learning more about, then do it.
