It seems that there were murders and an investigation into them, though I have not heard if the murderers were brought to justice. Have we all degenerated to such

Well we're still kind of new, but the White Lotus is a group organized so that its members, wherever they might be, can be identified by a recognizable tile of the White Lotus. When threats show up, whether natural or from the various villains around here, we can organize ourselves based on location, but... we probably need to recruit more people.

I can see your point, but, I've never really worked too well in groups more than like, 5 or 6. Never have.

I understand that as well. Large groups tend to be more disorganized than not. But small teams are better than individual attempts, I've found.
