I got to go to my lake today!

Finally got a few hours that didn't belong to chores or schoolwork or doing things for other people... it was a lovely, cool, overcast day. I wasn't sure if there would be mushrooms out this late in the year and with the heavy frosts we've been having at night, but I found some, and some other cool things too!

Lovely photos. When we were kids, dad would take us up into the PA mountains in the fall, and we'd walk the woods and pick mushrooms and see deer and lizards and wild turkey.

Looks as though you had a lovely day for it, all clear and bright and still. The light was perfect for taking photos of the trees and lake. And what a variety of fungi you found!
