[Flynn is sitting in his room in the clinic; he's been meaning to find a place of his own, but he's only there in the evening these days, spending most of his time out and about]

Hey, Sora. I found myself a decent enough sword. Nothing too great; could use a whetstone, but if you're wanting to check out that forest, let me know, kid!

Making a switch to the hero business?

I already sorta did back home. Saving lost princesses and all. But this? Nah. This is just to get out of the house a bit and see what's out there.

Hm. Well, considering the company you're keeping..

Eh, there's nothing wrong with the company I keep. Besides, it's not like we're going out into the woods to save someone.

He wants to check out these monsters, and I'm wondering just what's out there.

You found a sword?? Are you even capable of wielding one?

[Flynn crosses his arms, looking a bit smug]

More than capable, actually.

[tsunray]

[/smugs right back.]

Have you undergone the proper training?

[Apparently, the two of them are going to have a smug-off]

I've been using one since I was a kid. Managed to dispatch a whole horde of well trained Royal Guards just a few days before getting stuck here. [He neglected to mention that his weapon of choice at the time was a frying pan, but really, he did have good skill with a blade]

Yeah, that sounds like a great idea!

Aha, there you are. Was beginning to worry! [Flynn grins] When would you like to head out?

Haha, don't worry, I haven't gone anywhere!

[ He pauses for a bit to think about that. ]

How about tomorrow?

Tomorrow sounds good. I'll make sure I bring some first aid supplies. Just...don't tell the doc, in case he gets a bit feisty over it. [Flynn looks a bit devious] Not that I won't thank him or anything!
