[She has been keeping an eye on things... and she wasn't expecting to see Kenshin there... she watches the scene, perhaps more calm to it than she should have been. Her attention is on the man at the center, once he is more readily visible again. There was a note in his expression and his movements that was far too familiar to her liking, and she feels it like a weight inside of her chest.]

It's a testament to how this place has started to change her when she stops short, taking in his condition and realizing that, maybe, he didn't want his killing to be praised.]

[Yeah, compliments aren't exactly what he's going for at this point in time. Winnie's voice does catch his attention though. He smiles, even if it's a bit tired seeming.]
