Vash strips off his boots and gunbelt and dives into the water after Izaya. He did promise he would help the other if he was ever drowning. He just didn't mean it literally. But whatever. He grabs Izaya around the waist.]
[Izaya is coughing and sputtering and hating himself for the simple fact that he had to be saved by Vash. But right now he's not about to argu- KSADFHASD OH GOD SOMETHING BRUSHED AGAINST HIS LEG!]
[...Oh, God in Heaven. Please, please let that have been Izaya's foot. Please.]
...I'm going to start swimming now. Hold on.
[And without further instruction he loops the other man's arms around his neck and begins to swim for the shore. His calm tone is hiding how much he's freaking out inside. The prospect of fighting something in the water with a stone around his neck Izaya hanging on to him is not an attractive one. But he's probably just paranoid. Just. Paranoid.]
[He's hoping that's just one of their legs as well, because the alternative is something he rather not thing about. He clings onto Vash's neck in a very undignified way that he will deny ever happened if asked later.
Under the water, something slides between Vash's legs, it's very long, and very slender, and definitely not Izaya's leg]
[ At spotting someone drowning she couldn't help but run over to try and help them out, but she brought her little pet with her so the rabbit will swim right next to her owner.
With a quick gasp, she swam down to pick him up. Under water everything is lighter, so it was easier for her to bring him up. ]
[ She is trying to help him, he should be happier. =/ Although she did get herself soaked, her rabbit was still happily swimming while getting slightly caught up in her ribbon that fell out of her hair. At noticing this she quickly pushed him onto the side of the river, hoping he would hold on then quickly swam after her pet, hoping to be able to catch it.
She wasn't exactly good at swimming but she enough, which also made her rather scared due to her living in the mountain for a most of her life. She noticed that splash and it only made her fear this river even more, but her rabbit was still here so she couldn't just leave it, it was just like family to her. That and her ribbon is expectually precious to her, being a gift from her brother and all. ]
He tugs himself on shore, forcing himself to breath while he looks for a long branch. Izaya takes great pleasure in leading others to their death, but this is different. He didn't manipulate her, she would not die of her own choice, if she is eaten by whatever creature is in the water, it would have no meaning, and as such, Izaya would get no pleasure in it. Besides, if she dies, he knows for a fact that Vash is going to kill him in a way that makes drowning seem pleasant.
He grabs a long branch that had fallen and dragged it back, holding it out over the water.]
Grab your rodent and then hold on, I'll tug you back.
[Well fuck. He has been in this jungle for a few days now. Sadly, it appears he only gotten himself further entangled in this mess of vines, leaves and other various foliage. Luckily he has found this river. A river that might lead to a lake and then to an ocean, then maybe to a town, the city he was in? Fuck. He doesn't really know, he is just going to follow it, until he notices a familiar black haired man...drowning. No. Fuck. No. He didn't want to do this. Yes, well he couldn't let him drown. He hated the man, but he couldn't let him die like this. So, with that said he is now jumping into the river to save the idiot.]
[Izaya swears that he felt something brush his leg, his mouth opens in surprise, swallowing a great deal of water. He begins to cough, more water sliding down his throat. He feels his sight growing dark as he slides under the water, his lungs burning for air.]
[God damn it Izaya. He quickly grabs a hold of the man and struggles to get to the surface. Mind you he is also a city man, but at least he had learned how to swim at some point in his life. His arm comes to position itself under Izaya and around his torso. It allows for Shizuo's free arm and legs to propel towards land.]
[He doesn't exactly answer as he's drowning, and opening his mouth isn't helping that fact.
When he's pulled out there is a great deal of coughing and sputtering as he tries to fill his lungs with precious air. When he can finally breath easily he speaks.]

[Because Izaya is just as much of a control freak as Kakuzu, and lacking any control what-so-ever is bugging him to high hell]
