[The feed clicks on as one of Ruby City's newer inhabitants pounces on the watch, batting it to one side before dashing off to disappear into the shadows. Moments later she appears in a completely different part of the room, tumbling with an oddly clumsy grace. [He's beginning to think he should have just sucked it up and asked for some help over the communicator. Yet he's too stubborn to do so now, and if nothing else, he figures he's at least had a breath of fresh air, and all he'd done was go down a straight line from the clinic.

Even with the drawing lateness of the day, he can feel the presence of the looming structure as he steps beneath its shadow. The boy pauses, glancing towards its open doors at the subtle sounds coming from within. Curiosity gets the better of him that Kanon eventually steps towards the cathedral, and eventually steps into its empty coolness.

It smells old here....but there's also a hint of another scent that he can't quite place.]

[Stray pounces out of a nearby shadow, skidding to a stop inches from the boy, blinking her one eye in confusion. He hadn't been here before, had he? She stands up slowly, tail swishing across the floor.]

[He lets out a small gasp as he hears something, stepping back. His unseeing gaze sweeps the area in Stray's direction, and for a moment he remains silent as he listens, trying to get an idea of where exactly she is, and how big- an easier feat once she stands. The sounds in the cathedral are trickier to gauge for its unusual ambiance.]

[Stray frowns, reaching up to gently run a hand over his cheek. Not being able to see... It's one of the very few things the nomad is afraid of.]

Ka-non. [His name is repeated a few times until she can say it without stuttering.] Kanon... Blind?
