[The feed popped up to a much more... much more cheerful than usual Xion. They might even have caught a little bit of- no, there was definitely some humming to her as she took the time to finish the rest of her work. Displaying it purposefully, it seemed. The work itself? Some plants. Hard to tell exactly what they were. They weren't even close to

A confused blink and then a giggle emitted from her as she stood up.]
Maciel, what are you doing out here? I bet the dragons are looking all over for you.

[...and then he got distracted, obviously.]

Do you know where they were planning on going? Maybe we can find them together.

So he'll stand there with his arms crossed, waiting for that look of dumb disbelief to get off his face before he dismisses the expression with the shake of his head.]
What the hell? I never knew you had a green thumb like that.

And by the way, that shirt befitted you, sir. For what a potty mouth you could have. Xion does not approve. :|
Fortunately though, beneath the mouth and the really weird circumstances, there was still a Roxas under there that she had always known and liked. And that might have explained why despite their initial offbeat start, she was looking up at him with a relaxed smile. He was all in good intentions after all, right?]
Me and Olette used to help her mom with the yard work sometimes. [Him, Hayner, and Pence, too, actually. To their grumbling disappointment. Sitting up, she placed her ( ... )

And just as Roxas was still fundamentally himself, so too did he feel that this oddly non-aggressive Xion was the friend he was growing to trust. At least to say the least that considering the circumstances they met under, he did kind of like her and she seemed like the sort whose company he'd enjoy. So he's not going to push things too much... besides, it seems that everyone around the town's been acting kind of strange today.]
Must've been awhile ago. I didn't think you'd have time for that sorta thing these days.
[With an almost awkward air between them, he approaches her. Kneeling before the bed of flowers she'd planted, he eyes the plant life with a raised eyebrow. He wasn't going to deny that the job looked nice; she hadn't scattered ( ... )

Feeling just a little subconscious as he quieted then and just studied her work. Her focus made her flinch a bit when he finally spoke, but then she was smiling.]
Of course! I learned from one of the best, after all. [She cast her eyes back at the plants.] Though it's been a few years... but then we've been getting a lot more homework now.
[And been... kinda lazy and not wanting to do things because of that. Ugh, her brain.] ...I guess that's the nice thing about the city though. I get a lot of free time now, you know?
[Gotta think about the positives, you know? Not about... how much she missed ( ... )

What kind of plants are you planting?

Roses. My friend, Firion, started raising them here. Have you ever seen them before? They're really pretty.

I have some at home actually.
[and to illustrate that point she skews her watch so it's focused on her window still, there's a small bed of roses resting on the ledge that she actually picked up just after the event started]
Though they don't seem to be as nice as the ones you're growing.

At the moment though, she was all smiles at the sight of those roses on her window seal.]
They still look really nice... [And then-] -Oh! I didn't grow these! [Laughing a bit sheepishly, she tilted her head just a bit. Lightly touching the nearest plant, taking a leaf between her fingertips and thumb.] My friend did. He took care of them ever since he came to the city...
