[[Theta is out and about on a walk today. She goes for a walk every day to keep up her constitution. She's going all over town, resting on benches here and there when she needs to. It's a chance to talk to her, maybe even to meet new people!]]

[America is sitting out on his porch, trying to get a bit of fresh air. He hasn't gotten much since coming out of the mirror world, but then that is because he does not want to interact directly much in his condition, it's too humiliating.

He is wearing loose slacks to accommodate the makeshift splints on his left knee and right foot. His shirt is long-sleeved and high-collared as well, though the bulk above his left shoulder is the bandages needed for that healing wound. The bruises on his right forearm are likewise covered, and he is looking up at the sky, surprisingly subdued.]

[[Theta smiles when she sees him, but then frowns when she realises the condition he's in. She heads over and looks him over, then walks right up onto the porch and gives him an awkward smile.

Comfort isn't really her thing, but she's actually putting in effort while she's here.]]

... ... ...America?

[He looks over, pressing back for a moment before he pulls on a strained smile.]

Hey. I haven't see you in awhile.

No, things have been busy... Were things bad for you in the recent craziness, I presume?

[mirthfulness]

[Don't mind Gamzee. He's not at home, but crashed on a bench somewhere along the road, on his stomach with his painted face buried in his arms.]

[[Well, it would be mean to wake him if he's sleeping there, but Theta does need to sit down again and there's not another bench in sight. So she walks over and quietly says:]]

Honk honk?

[mirthfulness]

[Gamzee stirs a little at the noise, finally turning up toward her and fixing her with a *glare*. It's a very un-Gamzee-like glare, insofar as the troll doesn't usually glare at all.]

[Then, as if unaware of what he'd just done, his expression falls back into dull blinking. Any signs of annoyance have vanished.]
