[There is a piteous mewling from above as a small white dragon limps through the air, his wings tattered and his once pure white coat dyed crimson in several places. He's desperately searching for help; the loud on with a gun, the small one who tries to eat him, and the tall one who smokes are nowhere to be found. Hakuryu is barely holding on, but

[The young mage scans the skies, but he soon spies the little white form even as his dragonling points out.]

[Oh? Hakuryu looks down and spies the two of them. With a weary cheep he spirals down towards them; partway, however, his wings finally give out and he plummets, too weak to even cry out in fear.]

Oh no!

[Maciel hurries forward, looking up as he tries to gauge the distance- and hoping he can actually catch the little dragon. He ends up making a dive for Hakuryu once the poor thing gets close enough, landing with a wince, but the momentary discomfort he could deal with, thankful he's managed to catch the dragon.]

[Hakuryu cheeps thankfully at the stranger, struggling to fold his wings properly. When this fails, he turns his head to look up at Maciel, urgently chirping despite how tired he is. His friend is in trouble and there is no time to waste.]

[D sensed the poor creatures pain before he heard it's cries, or saw it struggling through the air. Without a thought he moves, jumping higher than any human could, and stops on a rooftop. He whistles to catch the creatures attention]

Over here, dear.

[He doesn't want to snatch the wounded dragon from the sky, scared of harming it, but he could give it a safe place to land]

[Hakuryu glances down and sees the kind man who complimented him before. He calls out to him and manages to get just close enough to collapse on D's shoulder, shivering and crying, obviously in great distress.]

[D places a protective hand over the creature when it lands, so it will not slide off his shoulder]

What happened to you? Where is your partner?

[He hid the anger from his voice, and kept his tone soft and gentle. If he had the power within him, he would end whatever monster that happened to be responsible]

[OOC: D has the ability to understand animals, just like he would a human. Should have mentioned this earlier, but I keep forgetting]

[Hakuryu takes a few deep breaths, trembling a little.] Please, help my friend! The other one came out of the shining glass and took his protection away! It hurt him and said horrible things and he's very afraid and I can't help him! The others aren't here to help, I don't understand, they always have been before which I why I don't mind them using me for transportation because they help my master but now he is alone... [The dragon can't seem to keep his thoughts in line, terror at what he just witnessed and the need to save Hakkai driving him to babble.]
