[the feeds starts off with Locke turning the communicator onto voice, and with a clearing of his throat he speaks clearly into it:]

Terra? Celes? Edgar? Hey c'om where'd you guys go?

[after there's no answer he sighs and presses another button...which turns the feed off completely. but after a moment or so he finally gets it to turn back on,

Any info would be appreciated, but I admit some tea sounds good right about now.

[he would've commented on the first part, but the second sentence catches his interest. Locke perks up, sounding more hopeful]

Yeah. That's right! D'you know her?

[a pause, of course it could have been another Terra Firion knew]

She has green hair?

[wait the void? Locke didn't hear anything like that, then again he didn't know Terra his whole life so...]

That sounds about right, but I can't say I know anything about the void or what Cosmos is.

This is Ruby City! Unfortunately, you're stuck here for now. But, we're all working on trying to get all of us out!

You won't need to worry about food while you're here; that's all provided for us. And as for housing, you get to pick wherever you want to live. If you want to live with other people, then you just need to ask around!

I think that's all the most pressing information you'd need at this point, but do feel free to ask questions about the city! I'll try to answer as best I can.
