[Elena had been sitting comfortably in one of the several library chairs in the downstairs lobby, flipping through a book idly while watching the communicator that sat on a small stand beside her with a steaming cup of coffee. She had another half-hour to go in waiting for the residents to come down and offer up their items for the ShinRa Apartments Wall of Residents, as she had decided to call it, when the sound of a train pulls her attention towards the communicator.]

[Except she can't tell who it is yet, thanks to the hand blocking her view. Reaching over to pick up the cup, Elena watches in mild curiosity, taking a slow sip of the hot drink when the face becomes visible - and she's choking on her drink.]

J-James?! What the hell?!

[And that's when she realizes that the communicator has been sending the feed in response to his, still choking and gasping for breath. Her hand slaps on the small stand, missing the communicator, then hits on the second try, cutting the feed.
