Ah, I...

I'm sorry... for this. [It's no secret that she sounds strained, exhausted and a little frustrated. Whatever happened to get her to act that way last week really had shaken Naminé's demeanor again. Almost to the point of where she never really wants to be seen again.

Death by shame is very likely to happen here.]

I... I just wanted to ( Read more... )

You weren't the only one acting strange.

No, I... I guess I wasn't.

[A pause.] That still doesn't excuse things though...

[Looking back, he had been behaving rather strangely. It wouldn't have been a first for him really. The spirits that seemed to be in charge of his last home had pulled more than their share of pranks that seemed to more often than not exact a cost in self-respect... even if he had ended up serenading that girl with the song he hadn't known before.

That was exceptionally awkward.

Still, he realized that he probably should put more effort into reconnecting with his old friends and while the circumstances were a little odd, he figured why not?

So time to flick open the watch and play with the audio recorder.]

You don't need to be sorry. I think we were all acting kind of weird.

I'm sure it'll be okay.

[Wait, Roxas sang to a girl once upon a time? We need proof B|

Not sure if something like this qualifies as that awkward, but being downright rude and shoving your Other away?

It's a little less awkward and way more self-hating, in more ways than one.]

No, I... I need too. Even if I was acting weird, I... that was still me.

I'm not sure about that.

[Ask him about it and he'll begrudgingly admit to it. It's nothing he's terribly proud of -somewhat more embarrassed with the how the girl fell on top of him during the hole ordeal and the shade of red his face turned while still compelled to sing.

Thankfully, the girl in question seemed to enjoy being serenaded more than wanting to slap him for the mishap.

Still, he doesn't really think she should worry too much. From what he'd learned, these things weren't unheard of around these parts.]

Well, then just apologize to her and move on.

We can't really change what's happened, right?

[Well, that's an awkward experience that didn't go too wrong, thankfully.]

I-I know. I will...

And, you can't. [Though you're talking to someone who can redo memories too. She sighs.] What's happened, happened.

[Does she really have the right to warn him? And to get into all the little details she doesn't like?[

[She's quiet, for at least a good five minutes.]

I... know. But, still... [A sigh.]

No, don't Kairi- Please don't. It isn't anything you could have controlled. It's not your fault. Just--

Don't apologize. Please don't...

[A resigned sigh.] It's not that hard to believe. It happens... to everyone who leaves and then comes back. I guess I... I don't know.

I don't want you to leave again like that.

[And it's hard to agree to a promise like that. Not when it's nearly been a year.] I'm not certain... if there is a way, but... alright.

[Getting cheer into her might be a little harder, but she tries to sound better.] I'll... I'll try. But I... I'm still really sorry.
