[It doesn't take him a while to figure out what's happening around the city with the broadcasts and the talking of everyone. For the past few days, Hope's tried to stay low and stop the flow of heartless around the forest seeing as his boomerang hardly does the damage he needs. Magic gets him by fighting what he can but he knows he needs to rely on what he's been given. So he goes to summon Alexander.
The crystal emerges from the spot on his wrist and he moves to grab it, but by the time he reaches out, it's gone and he feels his chest tighten, as if his heart's been ripped out. Looking over, his eyes widen at the sight of the shadow cradling the summoning crystal. What does he know about it? It's an extension of himself, a reminder of his focus, his. . . it's a part of his life, even.
When the heartless runs away, he feels his heart speed up and he gives chase. It's not enough.]

[A day later, and Hope's looking worse by the minute. His face is paler than usual, but he's making his way to the clinic, at the very least. Maybe he can help there, somehow? The watch is still on, and anyone who recognizes his voice can catch the desperation he's holding at the loss of his crystal.]
