-so cold. It's still winter here in this place, then...? How strange. ...I'm certain it wasn't nearly so dark either. [The voice sounds far away at first, and then gradually gets louder.] -Ah!
-can't have that now. [The faint sound of a chain being gathered, clinking lightly against the watch.] That would be a little

[She knows that voice. All too well, she knows that voice. It can't be... can it?
It takes her a while to find her voice, but when she does, it's rather quiet and subdued -- a stark contrast to her usual brash self.]
You... you're Jack, aren't you...?

Jack feels like he's complicated things, but he has a feeling finding out just exactly how and why would cause him just as much distress, if it wasn't already starting to now. Still, he forces a smile to his words, even if it can't be seen.]
We'll meet soon enough though. I promise.

[Still, to her it feels like a part of her missing memory is calling out to her -- it was a rather unsettling feeling, really. She sighs, pausing for several moments before she decides to speak again.]
You'd better keep your promise, though.
[Then, as an afterthought...]
Like I said, I'm staying with Gil... don't keep me waiting too long, okay?

All right. I won't.

[If that's all you have to say now, then she'll just turn the thing off shortly. And... dwell about just what the hell's going on in this town. Seriously.]
