[Just coming downstairs with sandwiches for assorted people, Christine stops to watch a moment, then burst out laughing.] He won't take them for you, either, huh?

No. [sighs and pouts] Mou, and he's running around like this while he's still sick.

[With a little sigh, she sets the tray down and hands a sandwich to Ran.] Here, have this.

Conan, I'm giving you another minute or so before I get cranky and then you'll have two of us cranky and your life will be miserable.

Maybe I should try taking him to the bath house instead. Would that be okay? [she doesn't know what the rules are about him going outside until he's better :x;]

[Jan hears Ran's calls and follows the sound of her voice into the room she's searching.] Uh...Ran? What are you doing?

Oh, Janice-san! I'm just trying to find Conan-kun. He won't take his bath.

[That explained the excitement and the sudden disappearance of one of her favorite boy geniuses.] I wondered why he wasn't around. Calling for him is just going to make him hide more.

I know, but I can't figure out where he's hiding...

[As far as showers go, this has not been the greatest. Having to hold a towel over his mouth so that the steam didn't make his cough and give away his location is bad enough; turning the water off everytime it sounded like someone was approaching didn't help either. But Conan somehow succeeded; when looking for a child hoping to avoid a bath, the bathroom upstairs in Christine and Jan's apartment received only scant attention. He's not quite out of the woods yet as he turns off the water, climbing into a towel, but the end is in sight.]

[in sight, yes, but yet so far away. Especially now that Ran, having exhausted pretty much every other hiding place in the building with the help of Elraine, Goro, Christine, and Jan, has decided she might as well check upstairs again for lack of anywhere else to look.

She reaches the top of the stairs just in time to hear what sounds like water turning off. Curious, and a bit suspicious, she creeps up to the bathroom as quietly as she can. She's already come across Christine, Jan, and Simon, so she's pretty sure there's only one person it could be - and she opens the door without knocking]

A lot of people were looking for you, you know!

[ ... For a second, Gohan thought this was actually something serious. And then the word 'bath' was uttered. And suddenly, Gohan is having every single flashback ever pertaining to trying to get Goten and Trunks to take a bath. ]

[wow, so many people on the watch today. Ran picks it up and smiles sheepishly]

It's fine! He's just being silly. He can't hide forever, after all.
