[Ada blinks, rubbing away any stray tears on her cheeks as she peers over the edge.]

...Hellboy? Hello...! What are you doing out?

I was just gonna get some food. Why are you out?

Winter festival...? Our Christmas is sort of like that, actually.

[She tilts her head curiously, looking at Firion.]

Though I would agree with that... it get rather difficult to do things when there's so much snow everywhere.

Yes! Very much so, sir.

It seems to be a fairly common thing to do, actually! Though I guess it's called different things in our worlds...?

[Ada pauses, thinking as she sips at a warm cup of tea.]

It would actually be similar to our world, actually. We have horse-drawn carriages for when the snow is light, but when it gets to be particularly heavy we just stay at home, as well.

Ah... I think so, too! It would be just like home again, in a way...

Well, I... actually wanted to ask what we were doing for Christmas and New Years'. Mostly because a friend of mine, miss Goro, was curious as to what we might want to serve for dinner.

[Notice that she grows strangely quiet at the mention of that dreaded week...]

It would be nice. There's no reason not to make things as comfortable and familiar as possible while we're here.

I suppose that's something we should figure out. I can cook something. [A pause.] Would you want to invite anyone?

[Yeah, Gilbert's not too keen on that topic himself, really. Not only did he try very hard to kill people, but he was kind of a failure at everything else he should've been doing to take care of the Vessalius trouble magnet siblings.]

There's a few people I was thinking of, yes! I know that I'd want to invite miss Goro and Conan-kun... perhaps Hellboy as well...?

Ah... um, well!

[She pauses, trying to think of how to explain it.]

It's like a celebration of the end of the old year! You spend time with family and friends and give each other presents or gifts. And then you celebrate the coming of the new year before settling in for the winter ahead.
