It might be a nice night yet, Italy thought optimistically as he hurried down the streets, but he really couldn't appreciate it very much. The stars were nice and everything, but he truly didn't enjoy being out at night all alone in this place. There hadn't been anymore attacks by man-eating killer bees and he hadn't encountered the monsters from deep in the woods yet, but... A still somewhat unfamiliar city at twilight, with buildings throwing all kinds of creepy shadows, isn't the kind of surroundings he enjoyed.

No, Italy would rather get home, get some pasta, tease Lovino... He giggled.

His pace slowed as he approached the bridge. A shiver ran down his spine and he hugged himself. He loathed the river. A river of blood... It wasn't, he knew, but that was hard to remember. Italy's steps became sluggish.

He nearly stumbled over his own feet in surprise as he caught sight of someone sitting at the edge of the bridge. They weren't going to jump, were they?

"Ve!" he gasped, alarmed.

Spock mused over other things, still looking up at the stars when he heard quick footsteps approaching. His neck had some pain as he brought it down to a regular position and looked to the right, seeing someone dressed in what looked like a uniform with red hair. Interesting as it wasn't the 'typical' red hair that actually looked more orangish, but red Fascinating.

The man's pace slowed, and then he looked surprised before crying out some syllable in alarm at Spock. The Vulcan's brow raised as he sat there, then looked around to see if maybe someone else was there. No? Getting to his feet, Spock took a step away from the edge and looked at Italy with his brow raised. A moment passed before he started walking over to him, hands clasped behind his back. "Were you addressing me?"

"Ve!" Italy said again and blinked at the man who was approaching him.

He remained frozen on the spot, a bit befuddled by the entire situation. So the man hadn't intended to jump? "You weren't going to drown yourself in the river, were you?" he asked in a fretful tone, just to make sure. You could never be too cautious. Especially when you didn't carry a white flag!

He tilted his head slightly to the side and inspected the stranger. As far as the odd strangers in this place went, this one wasn't all that odd. He didn't eat squirrels - or at least Italy hoped so! - he wasn't a troll and he wasn't a man-eating metal bee monster, either. These were all points in favor of him. Still, these were some odd clothes he was wearing! Italy hummd thoughtfully. Looked like an uniform, but not like any he'd ever seen.

"Because if you were going to drown yourself, you shouldn't! The river's scary and it looks icky!"

Spock recognized the uniform, but wasn't sure from where. He'd done simple research on history, but some eras he skipped over the 'fashion' and others he had not.

As he stopped, he studied the person in front of himself better, noting now just how vibrant that red in his hair was...and the odd bit of hair that curled away. He blinked, finding that the most interesting thing since it didn't seem to have anything holding it up such as hairspray...it was staying that way on its own.
"No, I was not going to jump into the river. I was merely sitting on the edge and pondering things as I looked up at the sky to see if I could spot any constellations that were familiar to me."

The weather has been getting cooler, not that it was a terrible thing despite what she was used to, but soon it will get darker earlier, and Vietnam thought that it would be a good idea to take in as much of the outdoor atmosphere as she could now before the winter set in.

The river was one place she enjoyed walking by, since despite its morbid appearance, she always loved the water. There was something about it that kept her calm, or it could be because much of her homeland was surrounded by the sea. Either way, she was partially thankful for it.

It was on one of these walks that she spotted Spock by the bridge. His expression was hard to read, with how calm he kept himself, and so she was unsure of his current thoughts and emotions. Nonetheless, Vietnam decided to greet him.

"Fancy seeing you here, it has been a while, no?" She said as she walked towards him, crossing onto the bridge.

He heard the soft sound of footsteps of someone approaching, but Spock didn't look up until Vietnam was close to him, greeting him. He moved his neck from its upward craned position to look at her, nodding and getting to his feet. "It has been three weeks, four days and six hours since we parted on that day during the park." He told her with a greeting-like tilt of his head.

"I am pleased you made it out relatively unscathed from the park in that state it was in. I trust you are doing well, Miss Vietnam?" It was still odd to call her that, since he hadn't met anyone - or even read of anyone, for that matter - with the same name as a country.

Vietnam blinked in surprise. Did he just remember the exact duration between now and since they last spoke? "That's...really impressive. Did you just calculate that, or just remembered?"

That may have been a really strange question, but it really was hard to ignore. She cleared her throat before she moved on. "I have been doing very well, I kind of prefer it uneventful like this. How about you? And ju Vietnam will do, really."

"I have done both. It is very easy for me to remember such things, as I can file away the information in my mind." It didn't look like it took much of an effort to drop the information like that.

"I am enjoying the uneventual ways of this dimension myself. The setting of the Jurassic era in the park was a little staggering for myself, but I find I am adjusting to this city." A lot more than he would want to. He would rather be home, in his quarters with his information and devices and the familiarity of the ship around him. Spock looked upwards at the sky, wondering if may, just maybe, the Enterprise was somewhere up there and that they couldn't get Spock because of some sort of barrier the city had up. "I have explored more areas of the city, some more indepth, such as the train station and the library, which I currently am residing in." He looked back to her ( ... )

Theta is on her way home from an evening walk, and she stops and smiles at the man on the bridge. Her leg was hurting a bit, so she took a seat on the bridge beside him, though she kept her legs turned to the bridge itself rather than out onto the water ( ... )

Spock heard the footsteps and looked over to see Theta moving towards him and then have a seat next to him. "My posture and position on the bridge will keep me from falling into the water." He remarked cooly, looking down at the water. With her own comment, he thought he saw a hand float by, but shrugged it off as a trick played by his mind and the light.

Looking back at her, he studied her posture for a moment, and her smile despite...He blinked and looked away, closing his mind. His own thinking had let his mind relax a little, putting down barriers for his telepathy. It was wrong to read another's mind without consent. But something was wrong; that fleeting instant he could feel it from her mind.

"Yes, that would be agreeable." He moved to get to his feet before offering his hand to her.

She chuckled softly. "It's not water. It's human blood, and they'll keep refilling it if they please." It was gallows humour, and she didn't care. It was a distraction. She had no idea how deeply he was looking at her, and so she turned to lead him away to her shop. She didn't take his hand, preferring to keep her hands to herself. That and she needed her hands for her balance, still unused to walking without a cane.

"Come on, then. It's not far, just over this way by the theatre."

He would have to study it later to see for himself which it was - blood or water. Spock had been going with what he'd been told as of right now, still much of an outsider. His hand withdrew as she pulled herself upright on her own, watching her silently.

"Please lead the way." He said with a nod of his head.

Vash wasn't used to seeing others out this late and a new face at that. He stopped a few feet away, not wanting to startle the other man. Were his ears... pointy?

"Enjoying the night?"

Spock looked up, hearing another person approach close by to see a Human looking at him.

"I am. I was observing the night sky to see if there were any recognizable constellations. I do not see any though. Are you enjoying the night?" It seemed rude not to ask in return.

Vash raised an eyebrow. Mapping the constellations... now why hadn't he thought of that? Whoever this man was, he had just raised himself in Switzerland's esteem.

"That's actually quite brilliant." Vash settled beside the other man, looking up at the sky. The World War II era Carbine slung across his back glinted in the moonlight, twin handguns gleaming from their places at his hip and shoulder. "What made you think to compare them?"

Mapping them as best as he could anyways. They were unfamiliar to him, so they couldn't be in Earth of Vulcan's area of the universe. He looked to the blonde as he settled down next to him...and then the guns attached to his person.

"Are such firearms necessary in the city if the creatures that live in the park do not come out of it?" Surely there wasn't really a need for such protection in a city like this...was there?

Darkness and a starry skies was at least familiar, despite it still being quite different from Alternian night she had spent traveling with her child and later on her child and their companions, but regardless seeing the star-filled sky was somewhat comforting in a life that was otherwise growing quite dull compared to what she was used to, though she had no desire to be returned to her point of origin ( ... )

The sky was growing darker as the sun set further past the horizon that wasn't visible to Spock due to the city's walls. He heard footsteps approaching, but ignored them for the time being, dismissing them as just someone passing by in the open area between the city and the bridge. However the footsteps did not die away to indicate that the someone they belonged to was walking away, but let the Vulcan know that the someone had stopped.

His assumption was confirmed when the female voice called out, albeit quietly in a curious tone. Spock brought his head down to look in the direction before spying a rather curious looking woman watching him. Horns, odd colored skin...who was he to say what was odd? He had slanted brows, pointed ears and green blood after all.

Dolorosa smiled, a bit more genuine this time. Even if this person was unrelated to her, she was glad to know he was alright. She was from a world where people usually weren't after all, so one where they more often than not were doing quite fine was like a breath of fresh air to her. Still though, she had already called out to him and he didn't appear too annoyed, so perhaps she could use the chance to make some more connections with the people around her.

She hadn't exactly been doing that too much since her arrival...

"I see..." She said, voice still gentle, "I apologize for interrupting you then. Would you mind terribly if I joined you for a moment though?"

And he came from a world where most of the people around him learned that he wouldn't show emotion, so he would always look mentally fine and/or stable. She wouldn't know that though, since he was still foreign. Still an outsider.

"You do not have to apologize. I was not involved in an in-depth meditation cycle at the moment, instead deciding to see if I could recognize any constellations in the space above us. You are welcome to join me if you wish."
