Carmen, resting against one of the walls of the building, was idly flipping through a book on 19th century structures. A small pile of other books, covering subjects from language to physics, were in a bag at her feet. Closing the book and putting it into the bag with the rest, she adjusted her fedora.

Carmen put her hat back on, keeping her voice equally low as she replied. "Yes, I would. What kind are you planning?"

"Targeted strikes on the buildings where our captors would be hiding. I must say.." he smiled a dangerous smile. "Your research would be invaluable."

"Would anyone be hurt?" Carmen noted his smile, but didn't return it. Not yet.

"Preferably not, but our captors will put up a fight, certainly."

[trenchcoatthief]

"They will, yes. It would be odd if they didn't. I'll help where I can, but at the first glance of someone being seriously wounded, I'll be bowing out."

Marluxia nodded once in reply.
"I understand."

[trenchcoatthief]

"Good, then I look forward to working with you."

[petalsofdeath]

"Well then..." He stepped away from the wall. "Further instructions will follow. I will find you once the actors in this production cast themeselves."

"Until then, Marluxia." Picking up her bag of books, Carmen slips it over her dominate shoulder and prepares to leave.

The Assassin watched her go, noting her absence with a slight wave.
