[Conan looks down at the watch, then away. There's a bit of pride involved in ceding an argument, but when it's Elle asking -- especially with recent events behind them.]

I'm coming over.

...Okay.

[Part of her just wants to curl up and hide again, hide away from everything, but she knows she can't do anymore. Hadn't she faced greater fears not that many days ago?

If anything, she owes Conan this talk, and she tries to rub away the glassy look in her eyes as she waits for him.]

[Conan would not appreciate the comparison to Zezu -- isn't a detective's job to help? But either way, there's a quiet knock at the door of the room that Elle's in -- Conan having made a guess based on association -- and then the door is pulled to after Ruby City's tiniest detective.]

[It's not that she wants to hide from Conan, but rather from letting him in on the thoughts that are making her distraught. By the time he's arrived, she's regained a little bit of her composure and tries to smile when Conan enters.]

H-hey...I'm sorry I interrupted your conversation, but-- [Cutting herself off, she runs a hand through her hair as she switches thoughts.]
