Conan gives Elraine exactly ten minutes to settle down, gather her thoughts and her breath, before he knocks at the door. He's still concerned that this is too soon, that there is nothing to be said, but he does want to check on here all the same.

"Elle-neechan?"

"It's okay to come in Conan-kun," Elle calls out as she lays back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. Normally she would get up and invite him in, but she just can't. Her uniform jacket and the skirt cover for her pants have been sloughed off, leaving her all in black and suddenly finding the scene she's created somehow ironic.

"Just close the door and lock it, okay?"

Close the door and lock it? Conan raised an eyebrow but did as instructed. He wasn't surprised to find Elle stretched out on the bed, climbing up on the chair nearby.

"Should I even ask?"

"It'll keep Sui out a few minutes before kicking down the door if she's being stubborn. That and I don't want anyone else walking in."

She sighs before turning onto her side to study Conan, "I'm guessing you've already reasoned out how I took Troy back from Christine, right?"
