Francis completely forgoes the watch - he's been coming over every day since he found out about this to check up on her, and try to give comfort to her. He walks right in and over to where she's sitting, holding back the mother hen instincts, and smiles.
She's half asleep, but startles a bit at his voice, smiling up at him. Her face is pale, save for rosy cheeks, and her eyes are definitely lacking in sparkle and warmth, but there's a smile, nevertheless.
"I'm starting to think I've almost got it beat," Christine says. "How are you?"
...oh...oh, Christine...the virus was eating away her radiance, and it took every ounce of will he had not to let that smile fall from his lips. He walked up and hugged her.
"I'm doing very well, belle. Anozzer couple of my family members showed up~ Seychelles and Scotland~"
Oh, hugs are swell. Wrapping her arms around him, she lets her head rest on Francis' chest. "That's wonderful." And the truth of that almost colours her voice. She is happy for him, to have family, even people from his own universe here. Of course, that reminds her of the sting of Janice leaving, which dims things a bit, but she's always been good at empathetic happiness. "I hope I get to meet them at some point. Seychelles is... an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, right?"
[The door to Christine's office creaks open a crack -- just enough for a tiny detective to ascertain if she is resting or working or fair game for being disturbed.]
((is Francis immune because he's a country or is Christine not contagious?))
"Better today than I was two days ago." Considering two days ago, she's fairly certain he tried to visit and she was in bed battling a ridiculously high fever, thanks to the medication. "How are you?"

He doesn't seem to mind that he's invited himself in, helping himself to a chair. "How are you?"
