Francis was well on his way over. He wished that it was spring so that he could have at least bought some flowers for the lady - he hoped he would suffice by himself. He donned a tan suit jacket and slacks with a purple dress shirt underneath, and a green and white striped scarf. He was fairly certain no one else but him could pull this look off.

It was with the courtesy of a gentleman - a very cold gentleman - that he knocked on the door before stepping in. He saw her and his face instantly lit up.

"Bonjour, mademoiselle~," he said, shutting the door behind him. "You look extravagant zis evening, if I do say so myself~"

Oh, lord, the colours. Not to mention the charm. Beaming, Christine hurried down the stairs to meet him. "Bonsoir, France," she said sweetly. "You're looking pretty dapper yourself."

"Merci, you're too kind~" he replied, and reached out to take her hand, kissing the back of it.

"Hardly too kind in the presence of a gentleman such as yourself," Christine countered, blushing on cue to the kissing. Then she nodded upstairs, towards the apartment's cozy kitchen. "I made dinner, if you're hungry."
