Who: Celty Sturluson, OPEN What: Silent reflection while riding through the equally silent city. That's always open to change. When: Monday evening Where: Around the city Warnings: TBA Status: On-Going
Conan's thoughts were running along almost the same lines as Celty's. He'd lost track of time in the library, something easy to do when there were no external sounds to provide cues to the passing time, and was walking back to the apartment he shared with Hattori and Kuroba. It was a strange feeling, hearing only his footsteps as he walked through the city.
Coming from Tokyo, the silence felt very unnatural, even more so when the bulk of the buildings were added in. There should be voices! There should be the rumbling of cars, trucks, the wail of police sirens--
-- the rush of wind as Celty swept by him on an almost silent bike.
"H-hey!" Conan protested, breaking the silence in sheer surprise.
The subtle sound of gravel crunching under wheels turned into the more obvious screech before the motorcycle swung about halfway, skidding to a stop. Celty's foot settled on the ground to keep the bike balanced, her helmet turned in Conan's direction.
It was an intimidating sight for anyone wandering the dark streets; a black clad figure on an equally black bike, both of which seemed to absorb rather than reflect light of any sort, remaining matte black against the shadows of night.
The effect was just as easily spoiled as Celty realized who it was and flailed a moment before slipping her phone from her sleeve. The light of the screen gleamed off her dark visor, her fingers a blur on the keypad before she finally turned it towards the boy.
[[I'm sorry! I didn't almost run you over, did I??]]
Celty was indeed an intimidating sight, more so now that Conan knew that there was nothing below the helmet. He registered the lack of any reflected light automatically as he stared, too surprised for a moment to react.
Celty's moment of flail jarred Conan out of his uncharacteristic pause and he approached her readily, holding his hands up so that she could see he was okay. "I'm good, I'm good! I was just surprised -- didn't expect you, Celty-san."

She looked considerably relieved at that, shoulders slumping in what would have been a sigh. Her typing was less frantic this time.
[[I hadn't expected to see anyone either. It's a little late, isn't it, Edogawa-kun?]]
Truthfully she was a little happy to see at least someone else out and about, although it seemed unusual for this city, she supposed.
