I hope it's okay! If not feel free to delete. ♥ sanctus_memoria October 26 2010, 13:49:49 UTC
Lenalee had tried to go out and search for Date, worried that his wounds might try and open themselves back up if he moved too violently. Judging from what she knew about him, he was probably prone to more injuries or hurting himself again. Hence her worry.

Sighing quietly, the Exorcist found her way to the Black Stallion, a place she hadn't really been to before and as she stepped in, it showed on her face as she looked around cautiously. Her bag was slung across her chest and rest at her side, filled with food, medical supplies and her device among other things. The smell of cigarrettes that clung to the air gave a bit of a nostalgic reminder of the General. A memory that made her smile justly.

Taking a step further in, she looked around. "Hello? Is anyone here?" Maybe someone here could of seen where the war lord ran off to.

Xanxus shifted in his chair, sitting up a bit more. "Didn't think I'd see you here." Still with his boots on the table in front of him, he made no other move to greet her properly. Whether or not she wanted to approach him was her business after all.

"Still looking for your friend?"

Straightening up at the familiar voice, Lenalee looked over to see Xanxus hidden in the shadows. She smiled faintly and gave a small wave as a greeting before she headed over to where he was. "Why are you surprised?" She curiously asked with a tilt of her head.

With a frown and a sigh, she nodded and looked down. "I'm afraid so. I've no idea where he might of run off to. But then again he's not one for sitting around doing nothing." It seemed like a lot of them were getting to be like that.

He looked up at her, red eyes darkened with anger held back for too long, but decided to humor her and answer. "You didn't strike me as the type to go bar-hopping. But searching for someone is a different issue altogether." Observing her gestures and the way she carried herself, he considered offering her a seat. Little point to that though since she seemed on the verge of continuing on her way. He wanted to see if she'd stay, first.

"If he's in good enough shape to get up and walk out on you, he should be able to make it back, don't you think?"

Theta walked in with a smile on her face and a bag in her hand. She went straight for Xanxus' table and helped herself to a seat, though other than smiling for him she didn't say a word. She took out a notebook from her bag, as well as a pencil and a compass, and turned to a fresh page.

She'd wait for him to offer before asking for a drink, and if he didn't offer then she would just keep working. She uses the compass to make circles, obviously gears from the way she arranges them; she's working on the gearworks for the mapping clockwork she'd promised him.

"Why are you here?" A simple question, calmly posed. He tilted his head and looked at her, clearly not in quite as bad a mood as he had been last time they talked over the network. It was quickly becoming normal for people to seat themselves at his table, much too quickly and too normal for his liking, but then, Theta was more tolerable than most.

Because she enjoyed his company and wanted to see him, but -that- wasn't getting said. Her answer is bland, and almost bored in tone. She doesn't look up from what she's doing.

"I came for a drink; too much tea makes me jittery."

He contemplated that answer, watching her work. It was odd to see that he didn't mind her presence much. She wasn't noisy or obnoxious, didn't get in his personal space any more than this which was at least bearable, and she had yet to ask a single wrong question. A minute or so of silence passes before he speaks up again.

"What can I get you?"

Cheshire wondered into the Black Stallion, the second he walks in, he smells the scent of blood but there was no body nor evidence that Cheshire could see. He walked in with catlike silence into the room. He stops in his tracks the second he gets a whiff of Xanxus. He could smell the alcohol on Xanxus's breath. He looks around for a moment to find the source and spots him.

Cheshire had been so bored that he decided to stay and find some prey to play with. He couldn't help but remember what Gilbert had told him, he shouldn't cause trouble or else Alice would be angry. Damn, that killed all his fun what was he supposed to do? Talk to the guy? "...Maybe he might pet Cheshire…." He mutters as he walks over to Xanxus's spot.

"Nya, where is Cheshire?" He tilts his head as he asks the million dollar question.

Of course not! Open log is very much open. variaswrath October 31 2010, 17:49:27 UTC
Xanxus tilts his head back, lazily glancing at the cat-boy. He heard the muttering. And has absolutely zero intention of petting the thing.

"The Black Stallion," he answered. Even though that should be apparent for anyone who entered. "My bar. Is that all you wanted?"

This city must just be retarded because there was no way that it could be this cold in October. Honestly, Eve didn't care that it was a bar. It was warm and it wasn't like the Sweeper Bar had been much different. Well...it had been a bit more busy, but she liked the quiet. She sat down and gazed at Xanxus flatly.

"The weather is being annoying." With that, Eve pulled out a book from the large leather purse she found earlier that day. A book on Socrates was just perfect for nasty, cold weather. Sure, the weather outside was frightful, but this place was much nicer than she anticipated.

Xanxus never liked the cold either. Downright hated it, really. He glanced over at the girl who went and occupied his space for no good reason, though at least she was sitting a bit further away at a different table.

"Do you drink, or are you just using this as a replacement library?"

Oh that lazy bastard! Squalo rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. He knew he was risking his life by doing this and he knew he would probably end up being the one tending to this problem but he refused.

"Vooooi!" he protested, taking a step back. "That's your bitch, boss. If it's broke you fix it!"

He kept an eye on the woman's knee, though. He could fix some things because, despite the things Xanxus said, he was no idiot.

The mechanism was clearly broken, and the damage to her leg from whatever injury had necessitated it was clear and marked. Without the mechanism working properly, there was no way on earth that she would be able to walk. And at this point, it was hurting badly enough that Theta was starting to wonder why this had never been done before.

She snarled at being called Xanxus' bitch, giving Squalo a very foul look. "I have work that I do for him...you may not be smart enough to understand, but I do work that a knucklehead like you wouldn't understand. So if you would please remove your head from your arse, that would be much appreciated!"

A warning glance at Squalo, and thinly veiled anger his voice once he adressed the swordsman again. "How much of an idiot are you, huh? I'm saying cut the damn thing off. It's beyond fixing." Admittedly, he wouldn't want it fixed in the first place.

Some days, really, he wondered if he really had to spell out every fucking thing for the swordsman.

Yes, yes I did :'O voooi_bitches November 17 2010, 15:39:06 UTC
Squalo looks at Theta, grinning like a loon this time. Cutting things off? Well, that's a good thing since Squalo is a fucking expert at cutting things off. And if Xanxus insists.

"Heh, that's because it's shitty craftmanship," he sneers. "You can't fix anything that's build by a fucking moron."

After that he makes a swift motion with his finger.
"Pour that whiskey over it, I don't want you to go and fucking whine if it gets infected or anything. If you're done, then go and fucking sit on your ass on the floor."
