Xanxus took his time and was, in fact, a few minutes late. The terminals proved convenient here, as he arrived with very little noise or warning, his steps without hesitation and almost silent on the pavement. Clothed in his usual Varia uniform, he looked around for anyone at all, feathers shifting quietly over the back of his jacket.

It had been a bit of a surprise to be called out here by someone he had never spoken to before, but he would take his chances. If they weren't what they appeared to be, well, he'd burn them to death and be done with it.

Is that him..? She glanced over at the lone figure that was approaching. Out of habit she kept on her guard as she watched the man, but she slipped her phone from her sleeve so that she could type out her words. It wasn't like she could call out to him, after all.

Celty stepped towards him, trying not to seem threatening, although a silent figure in a black bodysuit and a motorcycle helmet probably gave off an unusual air to begin with. She held out her cellphone towards him to show the screen and the text upon it, usually opting to use it over the watch when it came to in-person encounters.

[[Are you Xanxus?]]

He looked at the figure, noting that she didn't speak up or seem to be attacking him. Black bodysuit and a helmet- well with the bike in the background it made sense, but why hadn't she taken that off by now? An eyebrow was raised when she held out her phone, which was about the same moment he realized he'd never seen her communicate in anything besides text over the network. So it wasn't that she didn't want to speak, it was simply that she couldn't.

"Yes," he said, nodding, "and your name is Celty, from what I've heard on the network."

It was convenient how people managed to understand without her having to explain things, especially since it was difficult to leave reasons as simple as 'because I don't have a head.' She nodded in response, fingers tapping at the keypad of her phone again.

[[That's right. Celty Sturluson. It's nice to meet you.]]

Her head tilted at him inquisitively, and she looked towards the cathedral before her fingers ran over the keys again.

[[If you're ready, shall we go?]]
