The sun was a welcome change. It burned his face, warming him almost as the desert sun would, and the king of the Gerudo reveled in the light. So long had he been imprisoned in the land with no sun.

Ganondorf grew bored of the city. He sought out challenges, but nothing could compare with his power.

His sword hung from his back (He missed using scimitars and tridents, but he just could not find any in the Goddess-damned city) as he strode down the streets and to the cathedral just as royally as he would have in the fortress.

Ah, and there he was now. Masamune grinned as he caught sight of the lone figure that made his approach. The cathedral was soon towering above, another abnormality that the samurai thought no more than interesting to look at. There were castles back home built taller than this, and in the heat of battle, sometimes he soared even higher.

Once they closed the distance between them enough, he spoke up.

"King of Gerudo, Ganondorf Dragmire..." He made no bows, but he nodded his head in deference.

Ganondorf nodded back. He studied the man for a moment, with both his eyes and his magic. "Head of Ooshuu, Masamune Date."

A small grin appeared on his face. "I have long awaited a challenge."

"I won't disappoint, then," Masamune replied, grin tugging up slightly on one end. There was definitely an air of raw power concentrated about the warlord, a fighting spirit that simmered to be readily brought to a boil.

He drew one of his blades from their sheath, his right foot sliding back as he brought the sword up in both hands to take up a side stance, blade pointing outward. "You ready then?"
