It really was rather amazing that Yukimura had found something so quick and out of nowhere. But even if the forest seemed kind of scary, living there in a small fortress with people that can look on and protect the city from any monster invasion seemed rather nice. Doing her part to make sure the friends she had come to know were safe? It felt perfect on her heart, especially if Lavi and Allen moved with them. Having her friends so close always made the Exorcist feel more and more like she had a family again. She missed her brother, but at least the friendly faces here coaxed the pain to an ease ( ... )

Vietnam stopped for a moment to double check the directions, before pocketing the paper again, and held her long oar ready again for battle. So far it all seemed quiet, just how she liked it, but who knew. As long as there were no monsters, it would be fine. And as long as no monster jumped out either. She remembered a while ago that the others have said it wasn't that they could not be handled, it was their number. Vietnam rather not go against such monsters without a projectile weapon of some kind. Perhaps they should arm the building ( ... )

As they got closer to their destination, they could see the bright red figure of Yukimura. When he noticed them approaching, he stood and waved cheerfully.

"Vietnam-dono! Lenalee! You made it!"

Lenalee had mentioned the location to him earlier, and Lavi was more than a little curious. Really, the idea of a group situation made sense, especially in light of the disappearances. The last thing he wanted was to have to deal with was losing someone else, The old man's loss had hit him harder than he was wont to admit. He and Allen had no attachment to their current building save that it was secure and comfortable enough.

But for the moment, he had brighter things on his mind for the time being. In the distance he could see people converging. Well, that was the place then, wasn't it? He quickened his step as he approached.
