Albus was wrapped tightly in his robe as he looked around, trying to find his way. Maybe he should have asked someone to help him find a heavy jacket or robe before wandering out. With the winter air, and the boy definitely not being dressed for this kind of weather, his stood there shivering and tried to find somewhere that the wind wouldn't find him.

There wasn't much her could do for the moment but wander around and hope he'd recognize something soon. Or he'd recognize someone, that would be very convenient and welcome right now.

The older wizard kept watching the boy as he sought shelter. Eventually, moved by something a person might call pity, Severus made his way over to the boy. As he got closer he realized that the child was dressed in robes - Hogwarts' robes. A student? In this place?

"I believe you caught the wrong train," the Potions Master commented once he was close enough for the boy to hear.

He almost jumped out of his skin when the older man approached, not expecting anyone and not noticing that anyone had been nearby. Al brushed some of his messy hair from him face and looked over the other curiously.

"Thought I caught the right one... Mum and dad took me to the station." It was hard to miss the Hogwarts Express but for all the boy knew, this man might be a muggle. And he knew how important it was not to mention magic.

The closer he got the more Severus realized that this was likely a First Year student judging by how small he was. Had he, Severus Snape, ever been that small? It felt like an eternity since he had first donned robes that the ones the child in front of him wore.

"That may well be but this," he motioned up toward the City with a flourish, "is not Hogwarts."

It was then that Severus caught of glimpse of the child's eyes. Those eyes only belong to two people that he knew of and the boy was neither of them. So who was he?
