i am having thoughts about black beans in a slow cooker, maybe with nopales (cactus) and green sauce. do people do that? i have no idea, but it sounds good to me, though i am not sure about using the pickled nopales in cooking. if you have experience, please weigh in.

the few times i've used pickled nopales, they've been fine - i think the sour will go well with the green sauce...
