What sets my frustration to boil is when I try to explain to someone that, say, "Hey Joe" by Jimi Hendrix is f-ed up because it is about a guy going to kill his ex (there's a pattern here. "Delilah" by Tom Jones, too), and they get pissy and defensive with me because it's "only a song."
