Finally got my frickin' paycheck, but it's only for training so I'm not on my proper pay schedule yet. Still...happy with what I saw! Still have to put it in the bank, though. I have not had a nice, quiet evening at home alone for weeks now, at least three, I think. I'm chowing down on a big fat California burrito with rice my mom brought me from her favorite Mexican place and watching my "stories" - my favorite TV shows that I've fallen behind on. Ahhh, sweet R&R!

September is all about these huge transitions. Ask me again how I'm doing in a month and I'll be able to tell you without biting my lip or muttering sub voce imprecations, but as of now a lot of stuff is still up in the air.

• I'm going to apply for a private loan so I don't get stressed about money while in school. I cross my fingers tightly and fervently hope that my "questionable" credit won't be an obstacle here.
