These dark and cold mornings, though hindering the process of waking up, are a refreshing change.  I'm very much enjoying being snuggly in bed before it's time to get up for work.

Need caffeine.

So a couple coworkers and I went to Starbucks on our lunch break and as we sat down I said, "Holy, shit, Brian."

"What?"

"Two tabels away.  That's effing Chris Thile."

"Who?"

"Um, pretty much the best mandolin player on the planet."

Chris Thile is playing with (or opening for?) Bela Fleck and the Flecktones tonight.

OH MY GOD!

I'm hungry. And thirsty. But I kind of want coffee. But I'm supposed to drink lots of water and juice.

Otherwise, all good.

So, I shouldn't be allowed to have a grande vanilla latte AND a 20 oz Dr Pepper in one day. Why? 'Cause I'm totally wired. Take for instance, a few minutes ago. Ah, Monday. What can I say? I dreamt that I overslept...and then did. Nothing major. I still got to take a shower, nuke some breakfast pockets (still not sure how I feel about those...), make some coffee, get copious amounts of product in the hair ( Read more... )

So I'm at work and boy, are the mice playing. The boss is at jury duty, I'm rocking the jeans and Chucks, and the M.O. for the admin staff (of which I'm a member), is to stay chill and look busy.
