"Stuck in SoCal" is a phrase that is roughly comparable to "Vacationing in Hell" in sheer mind-bending cognitive dissonance.

I would rob banks to live in SoCal. I would sacrifice virgins to live in SoCal. I would put entire nations to the sword to live in SoCal.

Wow, vacationing in Hell, that's exactly what it feels like!

You do have to understand, my friends basically live in Boston, Toronto, or San Francisco. And I'm living in Santa Barbara, which is basically Resort Town for the World. I'm quite sick of living in paradise.

We barely get any rain here, for one. And for two, there are plenty of pretty people and few if any geeks.

Yeah, true. But then again I live in a state which has two moods: "Dutch Oven" and "Meat Locker." And all my friends live in the Northeast, the West Coast, or other nations. I live in Redneck Alley.

Now, Seattle, I'd love to live there. Rain = yesplease.
